This Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting (SHDM) will present ODIHR’s 2013 Status Report on the Implementation of the 2003 OSCE Action Plan on Improving the Situation of Roma and Sinti and its key findings. The SHDM will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Action Plan and take stock of its implementation. Participants will be given opportunity to discuss the lessons learned from realized polices or initiatives and explore the further measures that are needed to improve the situation of Roma and Sinti.
Recommendations made in relation to the above topics during the SHDM may be addressed to participating States, the OSCE at large, OSCE institutions, including the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, OSCE field operations, other inter-governmental organizations, as well as civil society actors in OSCE participating States.
