In this day of Monday, March 9th , we was five with Stefana, Nadir, Elodie and Iulian and me, Pascal, just arrive from From, for begin one year of EVS. Stefana take care of one of small group for help them in mathematics, Nadir and me help in the spelling of the words beginning by X. And Iulian try to learn of them to draw one car. And after, Elodie, took care immortalized by some pictures certain moment of classroom life of “Heart to Heart”. After the lunch, one group of 10 children go outside for recite some poems. Only a group of child from 7 to 9 years old who wants to stay inside to learn with Elodie about words of French by a game of association of words and colors.

Wednesday, March, 11th, Adam a new EVS from Hungary, had been presented to the class. Together, we play the game of “Pizza”. And then, we organize draw competition, the purpose was to draw one car in the landscape. Everybody was able to show the magnitude of their talents. The children was delight to participate. We ended the day in playing. Stefana make the game of hung, whiles Elodie, Iulian, Adam and me Pascal, play with the others to different non formal game.

Now we let the right to speak to Adam for the last day of this week.

My first week in Cozmeşti
Passed the first week, and today was my second time in the school of Cozmeşti. The first time I was afraid of how I’ll learn with Romanian children without Romanian language knowledge, but I always forget that human beings universal, and I came here to learn and not to be clever…
After the children arrived, they began to write their homework. A little girl copied from her reading book, two other students practiced the addition, the smallest children we have though to write the numbers. They solved very quickly the math tasks, wanted more complicated examples. But when they took a longer time to solve the tasks, they’re bored, so I prefered a little easier but more examples that the game be faster and more exciting. Still after tea we are playing with the numbers. In a palm-shaped form should to look for the different numbers. Until someone was looking for the given numbers, we marked on a paper of passing of time. This game captured the attention of students for a long time, and I confess, it was really good opportunity for me to practice the numbers in Romanian language.
In the first weeks, perhaps months, the challenge will be to find common ground without a common language with the children. I think after the first week, I need to develop a lot, if I want to give for the children a real value. The EVS is about learning, so I have to learn a lot yet. Of course, a children’s smile compensate me for the difficulties.

In Romanian

Luni , 9 martie , am fost cinci : Stefana , Nadir , Elodie, Iulian si eu , Pascal , de abia venit din Franta pentru a petrece una n EVS. La scoala , Stefana a avut grija de un grup mic ajutandu-i la matemaica , Nadir si eu i-am invatat sa scrie si sa citeasca anumite cuvinte ce incep cu litera x. Iulian i-a invatat pe unii dintre ei sa deseneze o masina. In timpul asta , Elodie a avut grija sa imortalizeze prin poze anumite momente din clasa “Inimi pentru inimi”. Dupa pranz, un grup format din 10 copii au mers afara sa recite poezii . A fost doar un grup cu ani intre 7 si 9 care a vrut sa stea in interior si sa invete cu Elodie anumite cuvinte in franceza printr-un joc in care trebuia sa asociezi cuvinte si culori.

Miercuri , 11 martie , Adam , un nou voluntar EVS , din Ungaria, a fost prezentat clasei. Impreuna am jucat un joc numit “Pizza”. Dupa am organizat competitii de desene , tema fiind desenarea unei masini intr-un anumit fundal.Toata lumea a putut sa iisi arate talentul.Copii au fost foarte incantati sa participe. Am terminat ziua , jucandu-ne. Stefana a facut un joc cu ei numit “hung” , in timp ce Elodie , Iulian , Adam si eu,Pascal , ne-am jucat cu ceilalti diverse joculete.

Acum ii dam ocazia lui Adam sa vorbeasca despre cum i s-a parut ultima zi din aceasta saptamana.

Prima mea saptamana in Cozmesti

A trecut si prima saptamana a sederii mele aici , si astazi,vineri , a fost a doua oara cand am avut ocazia de a merge la scoala din Cozmesti. Prima data am avut temerea ca nu o sa ma inteleg cu copii deoarece nu vorbesc limba romana, dar uit mereu ca limbajul uman este univeral , si ca am venit aici sa invat , nu pentru a face pe inteligentul. Dupa ce copii au ajuns , au inceput sa isi scrie temele.O fata micuta copia de pe cartea ei , pe caiet , alti doi copii repetau adunarile , cei mai mici copii invatau sa scrie numerele. Ei au rezolvat foarte repede exercitiile pe care le-au avut la matematica,si ar fi vrut inca exercitii mai complicate. Dar cand le lua mai mult sa rezolve exercitiile putin mai complicate, se plictiseau , asa ca am preferat sa facem exercitii putin mai usoare dar mai multe astfel sa le fie mult mai clar si treaba sa mearga mai repede.Dupa toate acestea am inceput sa ne jucam cu numerele. Pe o pagina in care era desenata forma mainii, copii trebuiau sa invete numerele , fiind cronometrati. Acest joc le-a captat atentia pentru o lunga perioada de timp si de ce sa nu recunosc ca a fost o oportunitate buna si pentru mine de a invata cifrele in romana. In primele saptamani sau poate chiar luni , provocarea pentru mine va fi sa devin capabil sa ma inteleg cu copii. Dupa ce am vazut cum a trecut prima saptamana, cred ca trebuie sa invat multe daca vreau sa le ofer copiilor cu adevarat ceva din care sa invete. EVS-ul este despre a invata, si eu trebuie sa invat multe. Bineinteles , un zambt de copil te ajuta sa treci mai repede peste dificultati.
