Vendredi dernier, nous sommes allés au lycée pour participer aux portes ouvertes qui s’y tenaient. Anna et moi (Valentin est en congés pour 10 jours) devions organiser quelques activités de façon à distraire les futurs élèves, mais aussi pour faire connaître notre travail ici.

Les ados semblaient réellement intéressés par nos jeux. Anna leur a donné des images de monuments qu’ils devaient placer sur une carte de France. Nous ne les attendions pas aussi bon pour ça!

Pour ma part, je leur ai demandés de mémoriser quelques mots français illustrés par des images. Après cinq ou six minutes, je cachais les mots et leur but était de retrouver ceux-ci à l’aide des images. Certains s’en souvenaient très bien, félicitations aux vainqueurs!

Nous avons profité de l’occasion pour apporter de la visibilité à notre association au près de ce publique et espérons qu’ils seront des futurs lycéens à Uneria et (possiblement) volontaires dans notre ONG!

On the last Friday we went to the high school to take part of the open day they were organizing there. Anna and I -Valentin is on leave for 10 days- were asked to prepare a couple of activities in order to entertain the high school`s future pupils and to show the work we are doing here as well.

The teens seemed to be really interested in our games. Anna gave them pictures of monuments and they had to find their location on a French map. We did not expect them to be this good at this!

On my side, I asked them to memorize some french words illustrated by pictures. After a few minutes I was hiding the words and asking them to tell me the meaning of each image in French. Some were remembering pretty well, congratulations to the winners!

We took advantage of this opportunity to make our association more visible to this audience and we hope they will be future students and (possibly) volunteers in our NGO!
